Hand to Hand: Praxian
Non-Exclusive
(Note: Requires Ninjas and Superspies)
Cost: Two additional skill slots after Hand to Hand: Martial Arts for non-Praxians. If purchased in addition to another Hand to Hand Combat style (such as HtH: Martial Arts), 5 skill selections are required.
Note: If you are using the skill progression system, use the costs there for a Non-Exclusive Martial Art.
Entrance Requirements:
- Gender Requirement: Female (assumed to be non-praxian).
- Must have a Praxian Instructor.
- Minimum Attributes are P.P.: 12, P.E.: 10, and P.S. 10.
Praxian combat is quick and efficient, favoring quick and low-risk maneuvers. Strikes are at short to medium range. A good balance of hand and foot attacks are the basis of this form. This art is only taught to females of any race. The sole exception to this is a person whom a Praxian has accepted responsibility for, as that Praxian is responsible for the other's well being and ability to defend themselves.
Training must be from a Praxian of 4th level or higher. This training may be sought on Haydon IV (the new home of the Praxians) or anywhere they can be found liberating other races from the Invid.
Costume: Praxian armor specifically designed for the individual is preferred though any light, non-restrictive armor will work.
Stance: Body slightly crouched with knees bent and feet a little more than shoulder-width apart. Hands are held loosely open and between shoulder and chest height.

Why Study Praxian Combat?
Praxian Combat is a no frills, well-balanced art that stresses defeating your enemy so they can't do damage to you. Training in Martial Art Powers is restricted to concentrate on physical improvement and face-to-face combat. If you seek a Martial Art that is decisive and versatile with a few weapon katas and the ability to keep fighting while on horseback, this is the Art for you.
