Drum Corps International -- You have no idea what "heavy metal" is until you hear Drum Corps.
Hans Zimmer -- Composer of the single best selling film score soundtrack, Gladiator, as well as Pirates of the Carribean, Prince of Egypt, The Lion King, and many others.
Howard Shore -- Known right now primarily for the awesome music of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but he has done many other soundtrack scores before.
